About The Event

The Plano Community Forum hosts its Annual Gala and Awards Program every year to recognize scholarship recipients and honor community leaders, business owners and educators for their dedication and service to the community and our youth.

The evening is highlighted with entertainment, special guests, awards, raffles and great dining. Proceeds from this event have enabled the Forum to support young people in pursuing their dreams and realizing their goals in higher education for four decades and will continue to support generations to come. The Forum awarded its first scholarship in 1983 to Bishop College in the amount of $1,000. To date we have awarded $353,250 in scholarships to 350 students.
