About The Event

The Plano Community Forum hosts its Annual Gala and Awards Program every year to recognize scholarship recipients and honor community leaders, business owners and educators for their dedication and service to the community and our youth.   The Forum awarded its first scholarship in 1983 to Bishop College in the amount of $1,000.

The evening is highlighted with entertainment, a silent auction, special guests, awards, and great dining. Proceeds from this event has enabled the Forum to support young people in pursuing their dreams and realizing their goals in higher education for four decades and will continue to support generations to come. To date we have awarded $342,450 in scholarships.
